I’m not a strawweight fighter I am an atomweight fighter taking fights up a weight class to get my name known and respected. I want to set the stage for women to have the same platforms as others to compete at their own weight classes rather than killing themselves to fit into the 2-3 weight classes most “common” for women. I want to expand the sport the same way the men’s side of the sport had to progress to what it is now, and if I have to be the boots on the ground I’m happy to step in honor of the sisterhood.
