Sean McCleary runs his own gym, his own no-gi label, and pulls guard on heavyweights.
Out of McCleary Jiu-Jitsu in Kingsland, Georgia, McCleary took the heavyweight combat jiu-jitsu bout over Bryan Brown on all three scorecards. He also runs Schematic Industries, an American-made no-gi company. He spent his post-fight interview on somebody else, dedicating the win to a teammate who had died unexpectedly that week.
Combat jiu-jitsu adds a new element for me that brings me back to my MMA days.
