Privacy Policy
This page explains what combatnight.com collects, why, who receives it, and what you can do about it. “Combat Night”, “we” and “us” mean Combat Night, a Florida MMA promotion. Our website is built and run for us by Kameha Media Group, our web agency.
The short version
- We measure how people use the site with analytics and advertising tools from Vercel, Google and Meta.
- If you fill out a form, what you type is emailed to our staff.
- We don’t sell tickets or take payments on this site. Tickets and streams are bought on the sellers’ own sites, under their terms.
- You can turn off our analytics and advertising tools on your device at any time (see Your choices).
What we collect when you browse
- Vercel Web Analytics. Counts page views and records the page that sent you here, your device type, operating system, browser and country, plus actions such as clicks on ticket and watch buttons, which fighter pages you view, and which form you submitted (not what you typed). It doesn’t use cookies.
- Google Analytics. Records page views, visits, and actions such as clicks on ticket and watch buttons. It uses Google cookies. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Records page views, records a click on a ticket button as the start of a checkout, and records clicks on watch buttons. Meta’s Pixel can also detect other button clicks and page details on its own and, depending on Meta’s settings, collect contact details you type into forms on this site in a scrambled (hashed) form. It uses Meta cookies. We use it to measure our ads, and we can use it to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Meta’s privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
What we collect when you fill out a form
Every form sends what you type to Combat Night staff by email, through an email delivery service called Resend. Fight applications go to our matchmaking team, with a copy to Combat Night’s main inbox, and the rest go to the main inbox. If our server can’t send your message, your own email app opens instead with it filled in, and it’s sent from your email account when you press send. A copy of each submission also goes to Kameha Media Group’s web team so they can check that the forms work. Each submission, along with your browser type, is also written to our web host’s (Vercel’s) server log, which Vercel keeps for a limited time.
- Contact: your name, email, subject and message.
- Sponsorship inquiry: your company, name, email, phone, the options you check, your budget and your message.
- Apply to Fight: your name, age, pro or amateur status, record, weight class, gym, location, email, phone, a link to your fight footage and your message. You must be 18 or older to apply.
- Ring Girl application: your name, age, city, height, Instagram handle, availability, email, phone, experience and up to 3 photos. It’s for people 18 or older, and the form includes a box to confirm that.
- Newsletter signup: your email address. We haven’t sent a newsletter yet, and we’ll update this page before we do.
We don’t send an automatic confirmation email when you submit a form. Our staff reply to you directly.
Content from other sites
- YouTube. Some pages show YouTube video thumbnails, which load from YouTube’s servers when you view the page, so YouTube (Google) receives your browser’s request, including your IP address. A video itself loads from YouTube only when you press play, and a standard YouTube video can then set YouTube cookies. Our promo video uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
- Instagram. We show our Instagram posts. Our server gets the list of posts from Instagram, and then your browser loads the images and videos directly from Instagram’s servers, so Instagram (Meta) receives your browser’s request, including your IP address.
How we use it
- To answer your message and to consider your fight, sponsorship or ring girl application.
- To see which pages, fighters and events people care about, and to fix and improve the site.
- To measure and run our advertising on Meta and Google.
Who receives it
- Combat Night staff who handle each form.
- Kameha Media Group, our web agency, which runs the site and receives a copy of each form submission.
- Our service providers: Vercel (hosting, server logs and analytics), Resend (email delivery), Google (Analytics and YouTube) and Meta (the Pixel and Instagram), as described above.
- Ticket and stream sellers. Ticket and watch buttons are ordinary links to Eventite, Ticketmaster or Spectation Sports. What happens there is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive your payment details.
- Anyone we’re required by law to give it to.
We don’t sell what you send us through our forms, and we don’t share it with sponsors or advertisers. Google and Meta do receive information about your visits through the tools described above, including, as explained under the Meta Pixel, what Meta’s own settings allow it to collect.
